  1. Claude → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it BizHunt, paste https://bizhunt.ai/api/mcp, click Add.
  3. Click Connect, sign in with your BizHunt email code, click Allow.
  4. In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http bizhunt https://bizhunt.ai/api/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
Custom connectors need a paid Claude plan. One-click "Add to Claude" from the Claude directory is coming once our listing is approved.
ChatGPT
  1. ChatGPT → Settings → Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode.
  2. Click Create, name it BizHunt, URL https://bizhunt.ai/api/mcp, authentication OAuth.
  3. Sign in with your BizHunt email code and click Allow. Start a chat, open the + menu and enable BizHunt.
Developer mode is available on ChatGPT Pro, Plus, Business and Enterprise. A one-click listing in the ChatGPT app directory is in the works.
Perplexity
  1. Perplexity → Account settings → Connectors → + Custom connector → Remote.
  2. Name BizHunt, MCP Server URL https://bizhunt.ai/api/mcp, Authentication OAuth, Transport Streamable HTTP, tick the acknowledgement, click Add.
  3. Click the BizHunt connector card, sign in with your BizHunt email code and click Allow.
Needs Perplexity Pro, Max or Enterprise (Enterprise admins must allow custom connectors).
Any other MCP client
  1. Add a remote (HTTP) MCP server with the URL https://bizhunt.ai/api/mcp. Apps that run on your computer and sign in through a local web address, like Codex, VS Code and Gemini CLI, can connect this way.
  2. The server uses standard OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration; your client will open a BizHunt sign-in page.
  3. Tools: search_listings, get_listing, analyze_listing, save_listing, my_deals, start_hunt, pending_approvals, decide_approval, inbox, credits, account.

Which AI assistants does BizHunt work with?
Claude (including Claude Code and Claude Cowork), ChatGPT and Perplexity, each with a guided setup. Grok and Meta Muse are coming soon. Apps on your computer that support MCP, like Codex, VS Code and Gemini CLI, can connect too: just paste in the server URL.
Which plans include it?
It's part of BizHunt Pro ($199/mo or $1,990/yr, 7-day free trial). New here? Connecting creates your account and starts the trial in the same flow.
How do I connect my assistant?
Choose your assistant above. Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity each have a short guide; for an app on your computer, add a custom connector with https://bizhunt.ai/api/mcp. Sign in once with your BizHunt email and you're done.
My assistant isn't listed. Can I still use it?
If it runs on your computer and supports MCP over HTTP with OAuth, yes: add a custom server with the URL above and sign in when prompted. For an online assistant, email support@bizhunt.ai with its name and we'll look at adding it.
What can my assistant see?
The same things you can in BizHunt: live listings, listing details and BizScore, the Deal Analyzer, your pipeline, Auto Hunt deals, replies and approval cards. It acts on cards only when you say yes, and it can never pay, change your card or buy credits.
Does asking questions use credits?
No. Searching, listing details, BizScore, saving deals and status questions are free. Actions that cost credits in the app cost the same here (owner email found 10, mobile number 75, CIM breakdown 25, printed letter 100), and your assistant tells you the costs before it starts a hunt or mails a letter.
Something isn't working.
Email support@bizhunt.ai with which assistant you use and what you typed. Disconnecting and reconnecting from your assistant's settings fixes most sign-in hiccups.
